Simple, Fixed-Color Configuration
CSL Yellow, Red and Blue provide a permanently selected color whenever the daytime running lights are active. No smartphone app, Bluetooth controller or additional color-control wiring is required.
App-Controlled Customization
The RGB+W version uses an additional Bluetooth controller and wiring. The required controller and connection cables are included with the RGB+W set.

Different BMW X5, X5 M, X6 and X6 M generations use different headlight and DRL board configurations. Select the option that corresponds with both your vehicle generation and the original headlights installed.
F15, F16, F85 and F86 Models
Select this configuration for compatible original Adaptive LED headlights fitted to the BMW X5 F15, BMW X5 M F85, BMW X6 F16 or BMW X6 M F86.
G05, G06, F95 and F96 Models
Select this configuration for compatible original BMW Laserlight headlights fitted to the BMW X5 G05, BMW X5 M F95, BMW X6 G06 or BMW X6 M F96.
The available vehicle generations and headlight types use different DRL board configurations. Please ensure that your car headlights are the same as the ones shown in the product image(s) before ordering.
Supported Model Configurations
The following model groups are covered by the available product configurations. Compatibility remains dependent on the original headlight design installed in the vehicle.
F15, F85, G05 and F95
Available for compatible BMW X5 F15 and BMW X5 M F85 Adaptive LED headlights, as well as BMW X5 G05 and BMW X5 M F95 Laserlight headlights within the listed product range.
F16, F86, G06 and F96
Available for compatible BMW X6 F16 and BMW X6 M F86 Adaptive LED headlights, as well as BMW X6 G06 and BMW X6 M F96 Laserlight headlights within the listed product range.

Select replacement boards only or choose the optional pre-mounted configuration to reduce the amount of board-level assembly required during installation.
Replacement DRL Boards
This option includes the replacement DRL circuit boards without heatsink modules. The original boards must be removed from their existing mounting components before the replacement boards are installed.
Boards Pre-Mounted on Heatsink Modules
The replacement boards are supplied already mounted on the corresponding heatsink modules. This reduces the amount of board-level disassembly and assembly required during installation.
Selecting the pre-mounted configuration reduces the work required to mount the boards on the heatsinks. When RGB+W is selected, the included Bluetooth controller and additional wiring must still be installed.

The shape and mounting points of each board configuration are developed to correspond with the original DRL boards inside the supported BMW X5, X5 M, X6 and X6 M headlights.
Optional pre-mounted heatsink modules Choose boards only or a pre-assembled module configuration
The DRL boards can be supplied separately or already mounted on corresponding heatsink modules. The pre-mounted option reduces the amount of board-level assembly required during installation.
Original-style single-color connection No separate color-control module required
The single-color boards are designed to connect through the corresponding original DRL board connections. No Bluetooth controller or additional RGB color-control wiring is required.
Full RGB+W smartphone control Colors, white tone, brightness and lighting modes
Control the RGB+W boards through a compatible smartphone app for iOS and Android. Select colors, adjust brightness and choose between different static and dynamic lighting modes.
Dedicated white LED channel A separate white tone alongside the RGB color spectrum
In addition to the adjustable RGB color spectrum, the RGB+W boards include a dedicated white LED channel for a cleaner white appearance than a tone produced solely by mixing colors.
Controller and wiring included with RGB+W Required control components supplied with the RGB+W set
The RGB+W configuration includes the Bluetooth controller and required connection cables. Additional electrical connections are required in addition to replacing the DRL boards.

Each package includes the required DRL boards for the left and right headlights. When the pre-mounted option is selected, the corresponding heatsink modules are also included. The RGB+W version additionally includes the Bluetooth controller and connection cables.

When the correct configuration is selected and installed properly, the upgrade is intended to change the daytime running light color without intentionally modifying separate headlight functions. Compatibility depends on the installed headlight configuration.

Installation requires access to the DRL modules inside both headlights. With the boards-only option, the replacement boards must be installed on the corresponding mounting components. The pre-mounted option reduces this assembly step by supplying the boards already mounted on heatsink modules. RGB+W additionally requires installation of the included Bluetooth controller and wiring.
